The Akkineni family has recently faced a tough phase in their professional careers, with all three heroes, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil, delivering major box office disasters like “Custody,” “Agent,” and “The Ghost.”
In response to these setbacks, Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna are gearing up for significant projects. Naga Chaitanya is set to star in a high-budget pan-India film under the Geetha Arts banner, directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The talented actress Sai Pallavi will play the lead role, creating considerable buzz with regular pre-production updates.
Nagarjuna, on the other hand, is preparing for a mass-oriented film titled “Naa Saami Ranga.” The recently released glimpse of the film received a positive response, and the project is eyeing a Sankranthi release. Notably, they are bringing in talented actors like Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun to strengthen the cast.
Akhil is taking his time to carefully plan his next project. Initially, he was set to work on a high-budget action entertainer under UV Creations with a new director, complete with a title and first-look poster. However, the failure of “Agent” has led to reworking the film’s plans, including potential budget reductions, and, as of now, the project has been put on hold.
