Celebrating 75 Years of “Mana Desam”: A Tribute to Dr. N.T. Rama Rao

The Telugu Film Industry is proud to announce a grand ceremony to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the iconic debut film Mana Desam, which introduced the legendary Nataratna Padma Shri Dr. N.T. Rama Rao to the silver screen. The event is scheduled to be held on December 14, 2024, in Vijayawada.

A detailed meeting to discuss the arrangements for this landmark event was convened at the Telugu Film Industry Council office in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024, at 4 PM. Representatives from the Telugu Film Industry, Telugu Film Industry Council, Telugu Film Producers’ Council, Telangana State Film Industry Council, Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation, Telugu Cine Writers’ Association, and Telugu Film Directors’ Association were in attendance.

It was collectively decided to extend invitations to film exhibitors, distributors, producers, and other key stakeholders, encouraging them to participate in large numbers to honor the remarkable legacy of Dr. N.T. Rama Rao and the cultural significance of Mana Desam.
