CBFC Gives Green Signal To Cocktail 2

Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, has received an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate from the CBFC.

The good news for the makers is that the censor board did not remove any visual scenes, including the film’s romantic and intimate moments.

However, a few minor audio changes were requested. A cuss word appearing in the subtitles was removed and the word “Agni” was replaced with “Diya” throughout the film.

The CBFC also asked the makers to remove a reference to “Jew on the run”, though the exact context of the phrase was not revealed.

After these changes the film was cleared on June 16th. The runtime is 2:29:19 seconds. Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films and Luv Films while Cocktail 2 is set to release in theatres on June 19th.
