Catherine to play Broadcast Channel owner!

Teja was a sensation during his early days as a director. He made three youthful love stories, Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam. All three introduced new actors to the screen and became big blockbusters. The late actor, Uday Kiran was introduced by him and he acted in three films in his direction and Jayam, introduced Nithiin, Sadaf to the screen and also made him a producer. With these three movies, he became craziest director but his later films like Nijam, Jai, Lakshmi Kalyanam, Hora Hori, Neeku Naaku, 1000 Abaddalu ended up tarnishing his image and today he is not even cared about as a director.

But as they say talent just needs an opportunity to shine again, after some personal and professional downs, he got a chance to work with noted actors for his next film and he wants to prove that he can still make better films than ever. Rana Daggubati, Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Teresa are playing important roles in his film. Kajal was introduced by him in his Lakshmi Kalyanam and Rana always wanted to work with the director. Catherine was first introduced to telugu screen by Puri Jagannath with Iddarammayilatho and then she starred in Errabus and latest, Sarrainodu. In Sarrainodu, she played a young MLA and two songs with her in the film became quite popular and she also got some name for handling the role well. Looking at her portrayal, Teja took her in his film to play an important role.

The movie story is said to be about a young political leader and his travel through power politics. While Kajal is playing his love interest, Catherine will be playing the character of a Broadcast Channel owner in the film. She would be the key factor in bringing out truth in the film it seems. The movie shooting is going on at a brisk pace and producers are planning for a June or July release for the movie. Rana also accepted to be a part of Naga Chaitanya’s next after Kalyan Krishna movie and that will be produced by the actor himself. The movie is expected to start from January 29.
