Catherine Tresa started her career with Puri Jagannath’s Iddarammayilatho as the second lead and continued her journey with Tamil and Malayalam movies. She became the glam doll for Telugu Cinema but the success has been evading her until she became a MLA in Sarrainodu. The character in the movie hinted at a quite serious side of her and she started trying to explore not just glamorous role but a bit more performance oriented ones too. She is currently busy shooting for Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal starrer, Nene Raju Nenu Mantri directed by Teja. In the movie she has been said to have doing to a powerful woman role all this time, but she opened up that it is the role of an antagonist and she could be seen trying to plot against Rana in the movie it seems.
A source close to the film also confirmed that she has been easy to work with and also quite thrilled with the way her character has been shaping up. She got more and more confident with each passing day and now, she has been more than upto the task with the tough task master Teja at work. She has improved leaps and bounds in het craft from she started and she is looking for many more difficult roles to come her way along with regular glam roles. She has pinned all her hopes on the movie it seems.
