Case Filed Against Chidambaram In Kochi

Manjummel Boys was one of the most appreciated Malayalam films in recent years. The movie brought great fame to its director Chidambaram S. Poduval and became a big box-office success.

Now the director is facing legal issues. Kochi City Police have registered a case against him after a female actress accused him of sexual harassment.

She said that incident happened in 2022 at a apartment in Kochi. Police confirmed that the case was filed on March 2nd 2026.

He has been booked under Sections 74 and 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to outraging a woman’s modesty and sexual harassment.

This has happened while the director is reportedly working on his next film and getting ready to release its promotional material.
