Director SS Rajamouli spun magic, and literally created history with the Baahubali franchise. He left everyone hanging at the end of the first Baahubali movie. Until the release of the second part, ‘Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali” was the only question anyone could hear anywhere in the country.
With the boost that WKKB gave the Baahubali franchise, the second part turned out to be a bigger hit than the first. Now, for the second time ever in the Telugu film industry, director Sukumar and Allu Arjun are planning to release Pushpa in two parts. The scope of the film was said to have exceeded a single film, which is why the makers have decided to split the film in two. While it is being speculated that Sukumar is planning to end the first part on a major cliffhanger surrounding Fahadh Faasil’s role, it is a huge risk that the makers are taking indeed.
This is the first time that Sukumar and Allu Arjun are trying their hand at a pan-Indian film, and since both the parts are being made on a massive scale, a lot is at stake here. Unless and until Sukumra manages to create an impact with the first part of Pushpa, it will be a great loss for the makers. With this doubt running on everyone’s minds, audiences are hoping that Sukumar will be able to recreate Rajamouli’s magic for Pushpa, by ending the first part of it on a grand and interesting note.
