It’s usually rare for any actor-director combination to be looked upon with a lot of doubt. However, this is the very thing happening with the combination of Maruthi and Prabhas. Ever since the fact that a film would take place in this combination became public knowledge, there have been more concerns and doubts than anything else.
With Prabhas currently occupied with Prashanth Neel’s Salaar and Nag Ashwin’s Project K, for which he has allotted bulk dates, concerns are being expressed over whether or not he would be able to allot dates for Maruthi’s film this year. Despite that, Maruthi is said to be confident of the film going on floors by at least October this year.
On the other hand, the film is yet to be officially launched. It was initially supposed to take place in May but got postponed as Prabhas was recovering from his knee surgery at the time. It is now to be seen when the film will finally be launched and put into motion.
