Superstar Mahesh Babu was always seen in serious roles, and in roles where his character talks to the point, without beating around the bush. He never really indulged in much comedy either, but all of that changed with Khaleja. In Khaleja, audiences saw a new Mahesh, with a kickass comic timing, and a sarcastic slang to die for.
Director Srinu Vaitla made full use of Mahesh’s comic timing and sarcastic slang in Dookudu and mixed it up with the Telangana dialect for Mahesh. This resulted in a massive blockbuster, and the audiences falling in love with Mahesh all over again. Ever since then, directors have swayed between making Mahesh stick to a serious tone, and making use of his comic timing, depending upon the necessity of his character. However, Mahesh has not been seen doing the Telangana dialect after Dookudu again.
According to the latest reports, director Parasuram has written Mahesh’s character in Sarkaru Vaari Paata in a highly interesting way, where audiences will once again get to see Mahesh doing the Telangana dialect. It is now to be seen if Mahesh will be able to pull it off a second time and make audiences fall in love with his slang all over again.
