Comedian-turned-lead actor, Srinivas Reddy is coming with his new movie, Jamba Lakidi Pamba. The actor decide to continue doing comic roles along with the lead actor roles. He did three films as lead till now. Anando Brahma, Geetanjali and Jayammu Nischayammura, established him as an actor but he doesn’t still have such bankable market to call him a star like Sunil. The actor knows this perfectly and he is only trying to be part of such low budget concept films that people can accept on him.
This new film, teaser has been unveiled by actor Nani and he praised Srinivas Reddy’s comic timing. He said, “We can’t stop from holding out guts when we see him on screen for fifteen to twenty minutes due to heavy laughter. If such a person wants to make us laugh for two and half hours, can we say, No, to it. I think the teaser speaks to itself, how well the movie is executed in a limited budget. I wish and the cast and crew, all the success.”
On the other hand, the teaser did find some criticism on social media for the title, Jamba Lakidi Pamba. Even though the young team clarified that this movie is not a remake but a story that is based on same idea, people have been comparing it to that film, a classic comedy by EVV Satyanarayana. Well, director JB, J. Murali is directing the film and the entire story seems to be different to what we have seen in the film. Still, the comparisons can harm the movie. We have to wait and see, how the team will overcome that.
