Can Hirani And Aamir Recreate The Magic?

Raj Kumar Hirani and Aamir Khan have reportedly decided to work on a sequel to their blockbuster film 3 Idiots after keeping the Dadasaheb Phalke biopic plan on hold. Released in 2009 and 3 Idiots became a massive hit and later gained cult classic status.

As per reports pre-production work is already underway and the team is aiming to launch the sequel in 2026. Bollywood reports suggests that a working title, 4 Idiots is being considered for the second part. The makers are also planning to introduce a new fourth lead character.

The script is said to be finalized and Hirani wants to make the sequel bigger and more entertaining to meet audience expectations. The story will feature more drama along with a fresh character joining Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor.

Industry buzz says a well known actor may join as the fourth lead. Since the sequel news came out fans and trade circles have been debating whether the magic can be recreated after so many years. With regular updates the buzz around the film continues to grow.
