This Sankranthi 2020 we witnessed one of the fiercest battles at the box office. Super Star Mahesh Babu and Stylish Star Allu Arjun locked horns with their respective films Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Both the films performed supremely well. While Sarileru Neekevvaru turned out to be Mahesh’s highest grosser, Ala Vaikunthapurramloo turned into the Non-Baahubali industry hit. We can say that Ala Vaikunthapuramulo had a slight upper hand over Sarileru Neekevvaru when we consider the box office figures.

Now, there is going to be another comparison for these two movies. It is already known that Mahesh’s Sarileru Neekevvaru was a blockbuster on the small screen as well. The movie which got premiered in March registered highest ever TRP of 23.4 for a Telugu movie.

As per the latest info, Ala Vaikunthapurramloo is going to be premiered on Gemini TV on August 15th as Independence day special at 6.30 PM. The movie is targeted at the family audience. So, can Ala Vaikunthapurramloo match the might of Sarileru Neekevvaru once again?
