Out of 4 releases scheduled for 24th August, Friday, Neevevaro seems to be having a good buzz due to Adhi Pinisetty’s popularity and his lead actress, Tapsee Pannu’s charisma as well. The other three are Lakshmi, Aatagallu and Anthaku Minchi. The other two films other than Aatagallu, doesn’t come with heavy star baggage.
Anthaku Minchi makers doesn’t have high hopes but they want the movie to be a good start for them in Industry. Lakshmi is a movie starring Prabhu Deva and the publicity for the movie is close to nill and the makers have high hopes about the film in Tamil than Telugu. But Aatagallu is a key film for Nara Rohit and Paruchuri Murali, the director.
While Nara Rohit has been trying to regain his lost market at the box office, Aatagallu for him could have been a good bet with a strong performer like Jagapathi Babu in the film. But the team did not try to promote the movie in the unique ways or interesting ways to attract audience. At a time, when Nara Rohit needs a win at the box office, he seems to be too casual about the film promotions. Anyways, sometimes content driven films do end up performing miracles at box office. Let’s see if any of the 4, mainly, Aatagallu can deliver any.
