It is well-known that noted production house Pen Studios is gaining momentum in the Indian film industry. The production and distribution house owned by Dr Jayantilal Gada has recently acquired the digital and satellite rights of Rajamouli’s prestigious project, RRR and has bagged the theatrical rights of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom among others.
The production house is already a part of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film, Khiladi and even launching Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in Bollywood with Chatrapathi’s remake. Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Pen Studios banner is planning to remake Khiladi in Hindi with Salman Khan. News is also that happening beauty Kiara Advani and Jacqueline Fernandes are under consideration for the female lead roles in the movie. However, an official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
Coming to Khiladi, this Ramesh Varma directorial itself is an official remake of the yet-to-be-released Tamil thriller, Sathuranga Vettai 2. Alongside Ravi Teja, the film has Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi in the female lead roles. Koneru Satyanaarayana is bankrolling Khiladi in Telugu and Dr. Jayantilal Gada is presenting it.
