A sequel to the 2019 hit, Rakshasudu was announced a couple of months ago. Ramesh Varma, who directed Rakshasudu will be directing Rakshasudu 2 also. While young hero Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas acted in the first part, he will be not a part of the second installment.
Earlier, reports came out that director Ramesh Varma is planning to rope in the hero, who has good popularity among the audience with a pan-India image. Now, the latest buzz is that the team is planning to approach noted Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan for the lead role in this movie. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
While Rakshasudu itself is a remake of Tamil thriller, Ratsasan, the sequel is a own script penned by director Ramesh Varma. Koneru Satyanarayan, who bankrolled Rakshasudu will be producing Rakshasudu 2 also. More details regarding this pan-India project will be out soon.
