Rumours began swirling regarding the next film by Pan India director SS Rajamouli, featuring Superstar Mahesh in the lead role. Unlike previous speculations about shooting dates, muhurat events, or casting, the buzz this time revolves around the technical team, and one particular rumour is quite surprising.
Throughout his career, Rajamouli has collaborated with cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, starting from his film “Sye.” Senthil has lensed many of Rajamouli’s iconic movies, such as Magadheera, Eega, Baahubali 1 & 2, and the recent “RRR.” However, for films like “Vikramarkudu” and “Maryada Ramanna,” other cinematographers like Sarvesh Murari and C Ram Prasad were chosen.
Given that Mahesh’s upcoming film is set to be a VFX extravaganza, fans are curious why Senthil might not be the cinematographer this time. Rumours suggest that PS Vinod could take on the role. However, insiders claim that Rajamouli has not made a final decision on this significant technical change.
He has become accustomed to Senthil’s working style, and their collaboration has yielded exceptional results, possibly even Oscar-worthy. Unless Senthil is unavailable for a compelling reason, it’s possible that Rajamouli won’t replace him in this project.
