Pushpa-The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair is all set to hit the screens on December 17th. Being directed by Sukumar, the film is going to have a pan-India release in all South languages along with Hindi.
Meanwhile, for the past few days news have been circulating among the media circles is that Sukumar is keen on roping in star heroine Samantha for a item song in the movie. Now, the latest reports indicate that Samantha is demanding a whopping of Rs 1 crore to do the song. If the makers accept to pay the above-mentioned amount, then Samantha will be participating in the shoot from next week, say our sources.
Co-starring Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Anasuya among others in prominent roles, Pushpa will be released in two parts. While the first part is gearing up for a release in December, the second installment will have a theatrical release sometime in 2022. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for this rustic entertainer. Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Muttamsetty Media is bankrolling this project.
