Director Rajamouli set a major trend with his Baahubali franchise, which introduced the concept of pan-Indian films to the Indian audience. Post the massive success of that franchise, every star actor and director in South India, especially Tollywood, has been eyeing pan-Indian stardom, and making films on that scale. Rajamouli now seems to have begun another trend, with RRR.
RRR was just the tentative title for Rajamouli’s film with NTR and Ram Charan, but the title was finalised after it became highly popular among audiences. While the film is yet to release, the buzz and craze around the film are unmatched. Several other directors are already following the trend, with director Boyapati revealing that he is planning a film in the combination of Balakrishna and Bunny – BBB.
Now, yet another interesting combination has come to light – AAA. Reports are floating everywhere that popular Tamil director, Atlee, is all set to team up with Allu Arjun, along with music director Anirudh Ravichander. As of now, AAA and BBB remain to be just industry buzz, but it will be interesting to see these combinations come to life.
