Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, was released in December last year, and the initial plan was to release Pushpa: The Rule, its sequel, in December this year. However, this doesn’t seem to be possible since the shooting of the film hasn’t begun yet, and sources are saying that the shoot has been postponed to October this year.
Earlier there were reports that director Sukumar was planning to go abroad for the second part, and shoot the film in Indonesia and other foreign locations. This was something the director planned for the first film itself, but couldn’t follow through because of the coronavirus pandemic. With Bunny also focused on his family life right now, it is being said that the film may not be released this year for sure.
While it is being said that the film would be released in 2024, some are saying that 2023 December is also a highly likely possibility. Given the grand success of the first part across India, the makers of Pushpa 2 have not only increased the budgets but have also decided to make the film much grander in every possible way.
