It is no secret that Salman Khan’s career was rejuvenated, throwing him back into the limelight and into success, with Wanted, directed by Prabhu Deva. Wanted is the remake of director Puri Jagannath’s Pokiri, and the film set into motion a culture in Bollywood that hasn’t come to an end to this day, and one that has only been taking bigger steps.
Director Puri Jagannath has a lot of eyes on him right now, as the director is anticipating the release of Liger, which would be released on August 25th. The film is carrying a good buzz around it in Bollywood right now, and given how Bollywood actors seem to be more than interested to team up with South directors, a lot of actors are said to be interested in meaning up with Puri.
Puri has, however, been constantly been maintaining that he’s always wanted to make a film with Salman, following the release of Wanted. The official call on whether or not Puri would team up with Salman is expected to be taken after the release of Liger, and should everything go well, then Puri is said to have a plan set out for the next ten years, during which he intends to work with several Bollywood actors.
