Nayanthara, the popular South Indian actress, and her husband, director Vignesh Shivan, are currently facing legal issues related to property disputes. The couple has been dragged into a court case by their own family members. Vignesh Shivan’s late father, Shiva Kozhundhu, hailing from Lalkudi village in Trichy district of Tamil Nadu, sold the joint property owned by his nine brothers without their knowledge.
Now, Nayanthara’s father-in-law, Manikyam, and Kunchitha Padam have accused Vignesh Shivan of wrongdoing in connection with the sale of the property. The property must be given back to the family, and the buyer must pay them compensation. As a result, a police report has been made to the Trichy DGP’s office asking for action to be taken against Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara, Shivan’s mother Meena Kumari, and their child Aishwarya.
The DGP has registered the case and ordered an inquiry by the police. The news of the legal dispute has spread widely in the Kollywood media. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan had been in a relationship for seven years before tying the knot in 2022. They subsequently became parents through surrogacy.
Despite their marriage, Nayanthara continues to work in films. Vignesh Shivan, as a director, helmed the successful movie “KRK” featuring Nayanthara, Samantha, and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Currently, Nayanthara is busy filming “Jawan” alongside Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
