Young Rebel Star Prabhas is juggling several films at the same time, keeping his dates very packed. His upcoming film, Radhe Shyam, is almost done and is reportedly gearing up to release for Dussehra this year. Prabhas is also shooting for his other films Adipurush, which marks his Bollywood debut, and in which he will be seen as Lord Ram; and Salaar, directed by Prashant Neel, in which he will be seen as a mine worker, who then becomes a don.
Prashant Neel is known to defy his heroes, as is evidenced by his film KGF, in which he elevated the film’s hero, Yash, to the next level. Prashant also has emotional and deep flashbacks for his protagonist, and it is being said that Prabhas will have an intense flashback in Salaar. It is now being said that Prashant Neel is considering roping in Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor for these flashback episodes. It would definitely be interesting to see what kind of role she would play, in case she really turns out to be a part of the film.
On the other hand, Shruti Haasan plays the leading lady in Salaar, which makes it her very first collaboration with Prabhas. Shruti is going to be seen playing a journalist in the film, which is said to be inspired by a real-life journalist. Salaar is also expected to release in two parts, as the scope of the story is said to be high.
