Buzz: Nag to introduce this Bollywood beauty with Bangarraju

Senior star Akkineni Nagarjuna has commenced the shooting for his new film under the direction of Praveen Sattaru in April in Goa. After wrapping up its first schedule, the film’s shooting halted due to ongoing Covid circumstances.

After Praveen Sattaru’s film, Nag is planning to take the much-awaited project, Bangarraju, a spin-off to the character in his 2016 blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana. Already the film’s director Kalyan Krishna has been working on the script for the past year or so.

Now, the latest buzz is that the makers are planning to rope in Bollywood heroine Sonakshi Sinha for a prominent role in the movie. If Sonakshi accepts to do the film, it marks her Tollywood debut.

Earlier, news also came out that Nag’s elder son Naga Chaitanya will also be doing a key role in Bangarraju that is aiming for an early 2022 release if everything goes as per the plan.
