Buzz: Megastar to do Vedhalam remake first!

Megastar Chiranjeevi is concentrating on remakes of Malayalam and Tamil super hits, right now. He seems to be giving young or out of work directors a chance to direct him in these remakes. Saaho director Sujeeth is confirmed by Megastar Chiranjeevi himself to direct him in Malayalam Blockbuster, Lucifer remake. Now, the buzz says that he has put the Lucifer film on back burner as he did not like the Telugu proposed script.

He chose Ajith’s 2015 hit film, Vedhalam to remake first and Meher Ramesh will direct it. Anil Sunkara will produce the film along with Ram Charan. Previously, this film was supposed to be remade with Pawan Kalyan as lead in AM Ratnam’s production. As the producer started an original film in the direction of Krish with Pawan Kalyan, he seems to have sold the remake rights to Ram Charan. In Tamil, the original movie was produced by AM Ratnam, himself.
