It is already reported that the shooting for Puri Jagannadh and hero Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming pan-India boxing drama, Liger is underway in the US. Reportedly, the team is filming a few action sequences and a song on the lead pair in and around Los Angeles in America.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that with the ongoing schedule, the major portion of the shooting for Liger will be wrapped up and the team is planning announce the release date soon. As per the inside reports, Puri is keen on releasing the film on April 1st. If the news turns into reality eventually, already the makers of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata have announced that the film will release on April 1st and if Liger’s release date is finalized for the same day, the box office clash between SVP and Liger is inevitable. However, to get a clarity on Liger’s release date we have to wait and see for a few more days.
Being bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee in association with Bollywood star filmmaker Karan Johar, Liger has young starlet Ananya Panday as the female lead. Reputed boxer Mike Tyson is playing an important role in the movie.
