Karthi’s Japan is set for a highly anticipated Diwali 2023 release, and fans are eagerly awaiting his performance in the film. While Karthi is currently engrossed in the dubbing process for Japan, the grapevine is abuzz with a tantalizing rumor hinting at a potential collaboration between him and director Pa. Ranjith.
This duo had previously teamed up for the critically acclaimed film Madras. According to the latest speculations, Karthi and Pa. Ranjith may join forces once again for a new project, with Studio Green backing the venture.
However, fans will have to exercise patience as the official announcement is not expected until 2024, adding to the intrigue surrounding this potential collaboration. It’s worth noting that Karthi was originally slated to play the lead role in Pa. Ranjith’s Sarpatta Parambarai (Sarpatta Parampara in Telugu).
As for the filmmakers, Pa. Ranjith is presently immersed in post-production for Vikram’s Thangalaan and has plans to helm Sarappata Parambarai 2 in the near future. On the other hand, Karthi is gearing up for a project with C Prem Kumar, the director of the critically acclaimed film 96. Additionally, Sardar 2 is in the early stages of pre-production.
