Vijay Deverakonda wrapped up shooting for his film with director Puri Jagannath, Liger, a long time ago. The film marks the actor’s first pan-Indian movie, and there are good expectations on this film, which is being co-produced by Bollywood producer Karan Johar.
Vijay has wrapped up shooting for most of Siva Nirvana’s Kushi also recently and is currently on a break from shoots. It is now being said that Puri is very keen to begin shooting for Jana Gana Mana from next week itself, that too, without Vijay. There is no clarity on who else will be a part of the film, which has become interesting for everyone, to see who would be joining the shoot.
On the other hand, Jana Gana Mana was supposed to be made with Mahesh, and it is also Puri’s dream project, as confirmed by the director several times. Mahesh has been keeping the film on hold for several years now, and now the film is finally taking off with Vijay in the lead. JGM is a patriotic film, which also works as a political satire, and as a satire on the situations prevalent in the country. The shoot of the film is expected to take place in Mumbai and South Africa.
