One of the most beloved onscreen pairs in Tollywood is that of Anushka and Prabhas, who stole the show with their chemistry in Billa, in which they were paired for the first time. The pair went on to act alongside each other for the second time in Mirchi, which took the craze around the pair to the next level. Then came the Baahubali franchise, which made them a couple loved by the entire Indian audience.
Ever since the Baahubali franchise, Prabhas has been busy with his own projects, while Anushka has been occupied with her weight issues. Fans have been ardently waiting for the pair to team up once again on the big screen though, and it looks like it’s finally happening now. Earlier, there was a lot of buzz regarding Anushka’s involvement in Prabhas’s film with Maruthi, but the buzz died out pretty soon.
Now, several reports are surfacing regarding the same, with sources saying that Anushka has been roped in as the leading lady for the film. If this turns out to be true, then it would be a feast for all of Prabhas and Anushka’s fans.
