On the occasion of World Music Day, singer Aastha Gill is eager to explore various musical genres in an effort to find new music.

Aastha Gill, a playback singer best known for songs like “DJ Wale Babu” and “Kamariya,” has admitted that she uses music to express herself. She added that this week will be dedicated to celebrating World Music Day.

Aastha remarked when asked what music meant to her: “Music is the best medium to describe our feelings, in my opinion. Additionally, I would play my all-time favorite song, “Lag Ja Gale.” When I’m feeling melancholy or overly excited, this music really helps me relax. It’s almost the perfect match for any mood.

Aastha made her debut with “Fugly’s” party song “Dhup Chik.” She is most known for her singles “Buzz” and “Naagin” and for the dance routine “Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai” from the Sonam Kapoor Ahuja film “Khoobsurat.”

In a previous interview on independent music, Aastha Gill said, “Our audience’s taste has developed, and people are aware of what is happening around the world. They are aware of the sounds. People understand how music is created. Therefore, a lot of individuals are learning that. The indie sector in India has flourished throughout this time, and I consider myself really fortunate to be a part of it.

“I wake up and I realize that I am blessed,” Aastha continued. I once enjoyed listening to Alisha Chinai and the band Viva. I’m already here. I find it challenging to accept that I have succeeded at times. However, everyone is working on their particular kind of art during this golden period for artists. I admire every Indian artist that expresses their unique style.
