Buzz: DSP set to take a break

Devi Sri Prasad is one of the top music directors in Tollywood who has delivered many superhit albums in his career. He delivered some f the most memorable songs throughout his career, with some even remaining fan favorites to date and some still listened to on repeat mode. Having said that, the fact that the music director hasn’t been turning out really good albums in recent years is something that is undeniable.

Even when he delivered superhit albums in the form of Uppena and Pushpa 1, the background score wasn’t up to the mark, especially in Pushpa, where the music director was even trolled for the lack of any score in some scenes. The same thing has now happened in the case of Ram Pothineni’s The Warrior, where the album has been passable, but the background score is being highly ridiculed by audiences.

While DSP has a couple of movies coming up for him, especially Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film with Bobby and Pushpa 2, it is being said that the music director is planning on taking a break for some time before he returns once again.
