Tollywood director Bobby Kolli scored the biggest blockbuster in his career with the recently released action family drama, Waltair Veerayya. Starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role, the film also has Ravi Teja in a key cameo. Co-starring Shruti Haasan and Catherine Tersa in female lead roles opposite Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja respectively, Waltair Veerayya has its music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was bankrolled by the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Prakash Raj and Bobby Simha are seen in negatively shaded characters in Waltair Veerayya.
As per the trade reports, Waltair Veerayya minted close to Rs 135 crore worldwide share in twenty-five days and is still minting decent revenues during the weekends. Meanwhile, the latest news is that director Bobby has been getting crazy offers from Bollywood. Sources reveal that a big production house from Hindi is planning a pan-India project with Bobby. However, to get clarity on the above news, we have to wait and see for a few more days.
Started his directional career with the 2014 film, Power with Ravi Teja, Bobby later did films like Sardar Gabbar Singh, Jai Lava Kusa with stars like Pawan Kalyan and NTR. He even directed a multi-starrer titled, Venky Mama with Venkatesh and his nephew Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles.
