Buzz: Akhil’s Agent to be postponed again!

Akhil Akkineni has been busy shooting for his upcoming film Agent, directed by Surender Reddy, for quite some time now. Malayalam Superstar Mammootty will be seen in a key role in the film, in which Akhil will be seen in the role of an undercover spy. Mammootty had allocated dates for a schedule in Budapest, but the schedule got canned as director Surender Reddy had tested positive for coronavirus.

Now that the director has recovered, the team of Agent will go to Budapest as soon as Mammootty’s dates are finalized. Sakshi Vaidya is the leading lady of this film, for which Hiphop Tamizha is the music director. Agent was initially scheduled to be released in August, but got pushed to Dasara as a lot of changes were done to the script, and there was a lot left out to shoot.

With the shoot being further delayed, it is being said that the makers of Agent are planning to postpone the film yet again, and release it in December. Surender Reddy and Akhil are also said to be in no hurry.
