Buzz: Adi Purush is not Ramayana?

Rebel Star Prabhas is playing the lead role currently in the film Radhe Shyam which is a periodic love saga. Pooja Hegde is the female lead in the movie and the shoot will resume very soon in Italy. Apart from Radhe Shyam, Prabhas has Nag Ashwin film in the pipeline. It is a science fiction thriller that has a time machine backdrop. Though his diary is full, Prabhas has given his nod for another project titled Adi Purush in the direction of Om Raut.

Prabhas has immensely liked the script and couldn’t say no. Everyone by looking at the first look poster and the title has come to the conclusion that Adi Purush is a retelling of Ramayana in a modern way and Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama in the movie.

However, inside sources close to the movie revealed that Adi Purush is not about Ramayana. The film is going to have Ramayana reference as the characters were designed to take the inspiration from epic. It is not retelling Ramayana but just the roles have similar characterizations.
