Even though the shooting part of Prabhas’s Adipurush came to an end last year, the film is still far from being completed. Directed by Om Raut, the film marks Prabhas’s Bollywood debut and features him playing Lord Rama in the film. Kriti Sanon will be seen as Sita while Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Ravana in the film.
The post-production work for the film is currently going on at a fast pace, and the film is scheduled to be released for Sankranthi 2023. Sources are now saying that the film’s streaming rights have been bought at a whopping price by Netflix. The streaming giant is said to have allegedly purchased the streaming rights to Adipurush for Rs. 250 Crores. WHile it is being said that this includes the streaming rights to the film in all languages, an official announcement is awaited.
On the other hand, Prabhas is currently busy with Project K and Salaar, and is expected to begin shooting for director Maruthi’s film in October. He also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit lined up, which will be his 25th film.
