Butta Bomma starring Anikha Surendran, Arjun Das, and Surya Vashistta in the key roles had a theatrical release on February 4th. Directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar T Ramesh, the film failed miserably to cash in on the weekend holidays. Reportedly, Butta Bomma collected only Rs 0.32 crore share by the end of its 2-day run. As per the trade reports, the pre-release business for Butta Bomma business is valued at Rs 1.72 crore and the film should collect Rs 2 crore share to achieve break-even status. As the film collected Rs 0.32 crore in two days, it should collect Rs 1.68 crore share more to be termed as a hit. Can the film achieve the break-even target in the coming days? Remains to be seen.
