Harish Shankar recently clarified that his quote-tweet about Mahesh Babu was an unintentional mistake that happened during a hectic day. Harish explained that the confusion occurred because he reacted to an incomplete tweet without reading the full context.
Harish said he was extremely busy with the promotions and final work of Ustaad Bhagat Singh starring Pawan Kalyan.
He spent the day attending censor discussions, visiting temples, checking post-production and discussing the background score with Thaman.
During that busy schedule he was also replying to media messages and fans, when he accidentally quote-tweeted the post. After learning the full context he immediately deleted it.
Harish expressed his respect for Mahesh and said his upcoming film Varanasi could set new benchmarks. He also offered a sincere apology to fans and all.
