Allu Arjun has created wonders with his latest release, Pushpa: The Rise, which managed to surpass all expectations. While the film received highly mixed reviews in the Telugu states, it has performed beyond expectations in the Hindi and Tamil markets, even creating new records in the languages.
It is to be noted that popular Tamil production house, Lyca Productions, bought the theatrical rights of the Tamil version of Pushpa: The Rise, for a whopping amount of Rs. 7 Crores, even when there were bids for Rs. 3 Crores. This seemed like a huge risk at the time, but it has now significantly paid off for the production house, which has made good profits from the film.
Bunny is said to have promised to Lyca that he would bear the losses for Pushpa and that he would even team up with Lyca for a film. It is now being said that this is soon going to be made official. Lyca is currently said to be in the search of the right script and director, for Bunny’s film.
