These days, web series are often watched at home, but sometimes it’s hard to even catch a trailer. Some creators have made family audiences wary of web series by including too much filler and inappropriate romantic scenes. “Brinda,” a Telugu web series directed by Surya Manoj Wangala and starring Trisha, is an investigative thriller. Brinda Movie Story: A dead body is found floating in a pond. At first, the police think it’s a suicide. However, SI Brinda (Trisha) notices marks on the body and believes it’s a murder. The CI doesn’t take her seriously because she’s a woman, but Brinda later presents evidence proving it was a murder. The series “Team” follows the police as they investigate who is behind these murders and what is driving them. As they dig deeper, they uncover shocking truths and solve the mystery behind these crimes.

Performances: Everyone knows Trisha is a talented actress, but she’s mostly been cast in commercial or glamorous roles. “Team” allowed her to play a character with more depth, showing her full range of acting skills. The attention to her costumes and makeup made her role even more relatable.

Ravindra Vijay is proving to be a good substitute for Rao Ramesh. Although he has mainly played similar roles in the past, he now fits well into these characters, bringing a natural touch to his role as Saradhi with his unique acting style. Rakendu Mouli also stood out by playing Satya as a confident young man, showing that he can excel if given strong roles.

Indrajith Sukumaran impressed with a character that has two different sides, though the role’s crucial nature means it lacks suspense. Anand Sami’s acting is another highlight, with his role being similar to Hatoda Tyagi from the Hindi serial “Paatal Lok.” Jayaprakash, Amani, Kotesh Manava, Goparaju Vijay, and others also did well in their respective roles.

Technical Aspects: First, it’s important to highlight the work of director and writer Surya Manoj Vangala. He has shown great talent in crafting this series, making sure every scene and character has purpose. Even though the series is short, he has skillfully provided clear leads and resolved mysteries without confusing the viewer. The 8 episodes are well-paced, emotionally engaging, and do not leave any unanswered questions or hint at a sequel, which is impressive. The series also deserves praise for being free from any obscenity.

Jai Krishna’s writing, which clearly distinguishes between divinity, humanity, demons, laziness, and optimism, is another standout feature. Anwar Ali’s editing, Dinesh K. Babu’s cinematography, and Shaktikant Karthick’s music all enhance the series. However, there should be more attention to night shots, as some scenes are not clearly visible even with the screen brightness set to maximum. The production design, artwork, and VFX also contribute positively to the series’ quality.

Analysis: Family-friendly web series have been rare recently. While this series does include some brutal murder scenes, it remains clean and engaging overall. It’s definitely worth binge-watching for Trisha’s acting and Surya Manoj’s direction.
