Breaking: Varun Dhawan to Join Hands with Atlee

Director Atlee is gearing up for the release of his maiden Bollywood movie “Jawan” starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in September this year. Ahead of the blockbuster release, Atlee seems to have locked his second Bollywood movie, this time with Varun Dhawan in the lead.

Over the last year, there have been rumors that Varun Dhawan and Atlee would be collaborating for a mass entertainer. Varun t saoo has expressed his wish to work with the director for an out-and-out action entertainer. Now, as per the latest reports, the duo is finally coming together. Touted to be an emotional drama with action at the forefront, It will be shot over a period of four to five months as the makers are planning to release this yet-untitled movie in the Summer of 2024.

Varun Dhawan, meanwhile, has completed the shoot of director Nitesh Tiwari’s romantic action drama “Bawaal”, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, which will release in October this year. He is currently shooting for Amazon Prime Video’s “Citadel” co-starring Samantha Rukh Prabhu and also has the sequel to “Bhediya” for 2025 release. Atlee’s film will be his immediate next big screen entertainer after “Bawaal”.

Varun has been in talks with Atlee for a while now and they have finally decided to work together. It further revealed that Murad Khetani will be bankrolling this project which is expected to go on floors by August this year. The makers are currently working on finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.
