Boyapati Srinu has been the director who escalated to fame after giving blockbusters to senior heroes like Venkatesh, Balakrishna. His first movie Bhadra became a sleeper hit with Ravi Teja. Then he did a movie with Venkatesh, Tulasi. Tulasi played in record centres for 50 days.His ticket to fame and a mark came with Balakrishna’s Simha. Before this Balayya was struggling at box office with films like Maharadhi, Parama Veera Chakra, Allari Pidugu, Vijayendra Verma. But 2010 Simha became highest grosser of the year and Boyapati became a name in the industry.
He got a chance to direct Jr. NTR in Dhammu, even though initial was great the movie did not become the expected success.After the movie, Boyapati came back again with Balayya’s Legend. The movie became a proverbial hit for Balakrishna and helped him in his political campaign in 2014. After that movie, Boyapati’s next had been in question with Allu Arjun, Jr. NTR and Bellamkonda Srinivas names popping up. Finally, Geeta Arts and Allu Arjun Sarrainodu with Boyapati. The movie became a smashing success for Allu Arjun and Boyapati has it turned to be year’s biggest grosser till Janatha Garage.
Since Simha in 2010, Boyapati has been releasing one film for every two years with big stars. Now he changed that route and working with a budding hero like Bellamkonda Srinivas under Abhishek Pictures production. The movie will start rolling from November 4th. Rakul Preet Singh is the heroine of the film.
