Box office will not be decided by Drug case!

Telugu Box Office has been seeing some refreshing new movies and collections have been good too. After Baahubali-2 the number of footfalls in the industry have increased and we can see that in the collections of Ninnu Kori, Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam, Keshav and Fidaa. The movies have collected more in their opening weekends itself and the footfalls during the time were great too. But many expressed doubts whether this will continue after such revelations in the Drug case.

With many actors being named and media speculations around them increasing each day, doubts about Cinema being able to sustain this momentum as become a big issue. Sivaji Raja, senior actor and MAA president answered to media about this concern. He said, “ Films are made for public and they ask for content to be good. If the content is weak then the movies will be a big flop. I’ve been observing this trend from many years and people have proved that they value good cinema all the time.”

He agreed that actors who are found guilty and as drug abuser will have an impact on people believing them. He said, “ We do fear about the media speculations and even though we do know some are untrue we always worry, whose name will they announce next when we see, ‘Breaking News’. The impact on their careers could be more if they’re proved guilty, but if they come out innocent then they will be appreciated even further. In any case, the Film Industry will run smoothly and audience will keep appreciating good content.” Well, we do agree with him and hope the negative impact will be redundant in the coming weeks.
