Hanu-Man, the Indian superhero film, has made a remarkable impact on its first day at the box office. Surpassing expectations, it has amassed a sensational worldwide gross of 24Cr on day one, encompassing premieres and excluding GST.
In Nizam, the movie secured a share of 3.1 Cr, while Andhra contributed with a share exceeding 3Cr, and Ceeded brought in an 80L opening. The Telugu States collectively contributed around 7Cr to the total share, with an estimated gross of 11Cr. Hanuman’s success extended to the rest of India, with the Hindi version also delivering strong numbers.
The overall ROI Gross for all versions is anticipated to be around 3.75Cr. Internationally, the film is expected to gross close to 9.25Cr. Featuring Amrita Iyer as the female lead alongside Teja Sajja, and with significant roles played by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Rajdeepak Shetty, Samuthirakani, and Vennela Kishore, Hanuman marks the inception of Prashant Varma’s Cinematic Universe (PVCU), promising a future lineup of 12 films.
