Box office: All ‘Oppenheimer’ screenings sold out in India

With his most recent masterpiece, “Oppenheimer,” acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, known for his spellbinding spectacles and thought-provoking stories, has triumphantly returned to the screen. Unprecedented levels of anticipation for the film have gripped viewers everywhere.

Shot entirely using IMAX cameras, without relying on CGI, the film has ignited immense enthusiasm, despite the majority of IMAX screens in India being digital.

IMAX screenings of “Oppenheimer” are completely sold out throughout the country, not only for the opening day but also extending until July 25th. Furthermore, an astonishing phenomenon has emerged in the form of “Fan Shows” organized by devoted fans in tribute to their beloved filmmaker. These shows often commence in the early hours, as early as 3 AM.
