Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with director Koratala Siva’s Acharya, which has huge expectations on it. The film also has Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde playing important roles in the film, which has further increased the expectations on the film. The film is reportedly going to release for Dussehra, and fans are eagerly waiting for the film.
Chiranjeevi will start shooting for the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, as soon as he wraps up Acharya. The film is going to be directed by Tamil director Mohan Raja, and Godfather is being considered as the title of the film. Satyadev has been roped in to play the part that Vivek Oberoi has played in the original, and the rest of the cast is being finalized. According to the latest reports, Chiranjeevi is planning to rope in Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan to play the part that Prithviraj played in the original.
Lucifer is being made on a grand scale, and Salman Khan’s involvement in the project would be a major asset to the film. However, it is to be seen whether Salman accepts to be a part of the film or not. Apart from Lucifer, Chiranjeevi has lined up director Bobby’s film, and it was also recently said that he has given his green nod to a film with director Maruthi, which is expected to roll after both of them are done with their current commitments. Initially, it was planned that Chiranjeevi would also act in the remake of the Tamil film Vedhalam, which would be directed by Meher Ramesh, but the plan has veen put on hold for now. It is now to be seen if this plan will get back into place, or if the film will be shelved permanently.
