Noted Bollywood star heroine Kriti Sanon’s emotional drama, Mimi under the direction of Laxman Utekar has wrapped up its entire shooting formalities last year itself. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film is planned for a release during mid- 2020 but due to Covid circumstances, the release plans got disturbed.
After patiently waiting for more than six months, Dinesh Vijan planned for the theatrical release of the film during summer 2021 but as a huge disappointment prevailing Corona second wave situation left Dinesh in a helpless phase.
As per the latest reports, Dinesh Vijan has changed his plans and going to release his film directly on the digital platform. He is reportedly in talks with one of the noted OTT platforms and about to close the deal in a couple of days. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be soon. Touted as a social drama, Mimi is the first women-centric project in Kriti Sanon’s career.
Apart from Mimi, Kriti Sanon has big projects like Adipurush, Bachchan Pandey, House Full 5, Ganapat, Hum Do Hamare among others in the pipeline.
