For the past few years, the Bollywood industry is facing the heat in the form of South films. While the result of Shahid Kapoor’s last week’s release, Jersey is hurting the Hindi circles, two new films in the form of Heropanthi 2 and Runway 34 had a theatrical release yesterday.
Reportedly, both films failed to grab the attention of the audience. Trade reports say that Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 got rave reviews from the critics but collected only close to Rs 3 crore on its opening day. On the other hand, Tiger Shroff’s action drama, Heropanthi2 managed to collect Rs 7 crore on the first day. If the same momentum continues, both the films are likely to end up as flops at the box office.
Surprising thing is that even in its third week, Yash starrer KGF 2 collected Rs 4.25 crore on Friday which is an indication that it has a high chance to perform well during this extended Eid weekend in the North belt.
