Noted Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s new film, Cirkus featuring Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair had a theatrical release yesterday. Opened to below-par reports, Cirkus failed to impress the audience.
As per the trade reports, Cirkus collected only Rs 7 crore nett on its opening day. The bookings on the online ticket booking portal Bookmyshow for the weekend are also not encouraging. If the same momentum continues, Cirkus is going to end up as a disaster at the box office.
Those who have happened to watch Cirkus, the highly disappointed with Rohit Shetty’s making. It is widely known that Rohit Shetty earlier delivered hits like the Singham series, Simba and last year released Sooryavanshi. More than Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh, the failure of Cirkus costs heavily to the female lead Pooja Hegde as she pinned hopes on this actioner.
