Bollywood praises India’s Golden Boy Neeraj Chopra after his win

Neeraj Chopra, an Indian athlete, has once again brought honour to his country by winning gold at the World Athletics Championships taking place in Budapest, Hungary.

The ‘golden kid of Indian athletics’ received congratulations from B-town as well as the rest of the country for his historic victory, which cemented him as the first Indian to win a gold medal in this competition.

Numerous Bollywood celebrities applauded Chopra on Monday. “Congratulations to our world champion,” Shahid Kapoor, an actor from “Udta Punjab,” posted beside a photo on his Instagram stories. #Proud.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid’s ‘Jab We Met’ co-star, posted a video on her Instagram account with the caption: “So proud of you #Champion.”

Congratulations to India, wrote National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut in a post she shared on her stories. Without a doubt the best of all time.

The same image was posted by the director Farhan Akhtar, who added the caption, “Congratulations (clap emojis) Onwards and upwards @neeraj_chopra (gold medal emoji) @worldathletics #javelin.”

Vicky Kaushal referred to Neeraj as a “Absolute Legend” and shared images of his victories at the Olympics in 2021, the Diamond League in 2022, and the most recent World Athletics Championships in 2023.

Abhishek Bachchan, whose recently released movie “Ghoomer” is getting a lot of good reviews, posted a photo of Neeraj on his Instagram Story. In his caption for the photo, he stated: “Once again, @neeraj_chopra fills us with pride as he secures gold in the men’s javelin throw competition at the #World Athletics Championships.”

Anushka Sharma congratulated @neeraj_chopra and shared the accomplishment on her Instagram Stories. This is amazing. Such an occasion for India’s pride.

In his second attempt, Neeraj recorded his best throw, measuring 88.17 metres. Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan, the Commonwealth Games champion, won silver with a throw of 87.82 metres, and Czech Jakub Vadlejch took third with a throw of 86.67 metres.
