Bollywood more interested in RRR than Hindi films?

Bollywood – the Hindi film industry, is one of the biggest film industries in the world, having produced more films than Hollywood at a certain point of time. Bollywood films have a huge market around the world, with people everywhere watching the films, and getting exposed to Indian culture through them. Bollywood films still enjoy that craze, but looks like Bollywood is more interested in South Indian films than its own films right now.

According to the latest reports, Bollywood trade circles seem to be more interested in RRR and KGF Chapter 2, more than they are interested in Bollywood biggies like Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and several others. Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar are two of the biggest stars in Bollywood, which is why it is surprising that Bollywood trade circles are more interested in South Indian films, over their films. RRR has a lot of expectations riding on it, with the film involving actors from around the world.

As of now, there’s no clarity over when RRR will release, with sources saying that Rajamouli is eyeing Sankranthi 2022 as he wants the exhibition industry around the world to reopen, since the film is made on a massive scale. and the lack of proper market will affect the film’s business greatly. On the other hand, KGF2 has been announced to release in April next year.
