Bollywood: ‘Bhoot Police’ rights snapped by this digital platform

After Covid first wave relaxations announced, Bollywood movie Bhoot Police starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandes has wrapped up its entire shooting part at Dalhousie valley located in the state of Himachal Pradesh in forty days. The film was actually planned for a summer release but Covid second wave circumstances disturbed the release plans.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film is going to skip its theatrical release and opt for a direct OTT streaming soon. As per the Bollywood reports, noted digital platform Disney Plus Hotstar and its interlinked SUN Network channel has acquired the streaming and satellite rights of Bhoot Police for Rs 60 crore.

Reports also suggest that as the film was made with a budget of Rs 40 crore, producer Ramesh Taurani witnessing a table profit of approximately 20 crores by signing the deal. Touted as a horror-comedy, the film has been directed by Pawan Kripalani.
